Key of Light

Each girl has to find one of the three keys to open the glass box, if any of them do not find a key; they then lose a year of their lives'. Through their adventure the three women are helped by a god and goddess, Pitte and Rowena. The gods have been cast out from behind the curtain of Power (the shield that separates the mortals' world from the gods') because of not protecting the three demi-goddesses from the evil sorcerer.
Rowena asks the women to take up the challenge, "I will make you an offer, you will each have, in turn, one phase of the moon to find one of the three keys. If all three keys are brought to this place, before the end of the third moon, you will each be given a boon."It is not a surprise this book was a #1 New York Times Bestseller, because of its action packed sequence, mystical tale with some romance tied in.

Wonderful

Key of Light is a beautiful story of three friends bound in a quest for a key. The characters are rich and lovable. This is one of Nora Roberts' best books ever! I absolutely loved it from start to finish, and can't wait to read the next two books in the trilogy. I have long been a Nora fan, and this book is one of the best examples why. A must read!!!

Not a bad way to spend an evening,

but I'm not sure I liked it enough to read the rest of the trilogy.
