This is a cute and quirky cd for quirky cat lovers. I wouldn't give it as a gift unless the recipient is into the offbeat (read: hokey) or is a big fan of Garrison Keillor. The songs are humorous and vary widely in style.

There are songs about lazy cats, fat cats, noisy cats, selfish, self-centered cats, calculating, mean, and opportunistic cats, picky-eater cats, cats who want inside/outside, and scratch-on-the-door cats.

Because when you can't live with cats, and you can't live without them--it helps to sing about them, and all the good and the bad things about cats seem bearable.
