Wonderful Read!
Hal and Jenny are to be married. There are some things standing in their way. Hal is going off on a mercy mission and Hal's brother Cage is in love with Jenny. Jenny thinks of seducing Hal so he would not leave only to find out it was not Hal who she made love to in the dark but his brother Cage. So starts this very intriguing love story of love lost and found. Will Jenny ever feel the same way for Cage? and will he admit to what he has done. Very touching, sad and wonderful. Excellent Read!.
Would have given 5 stars, but.......
This story was absolutely incredible. I listened to this one on CD and I was so anxious to get into my car to hear the rest of the story every day! I absolutely loved the storyline. It was great.
The only reason I gave it 4 instead of five is because I thought they could have tied it up in a little prettier of a package. I had two many un answered questions that could have been beautifully answered with one more chapter.
But still one of my favorites.....
A SIGH PRODUCING LOVE STORY
The word "versatility" is given new meaning in the person of actress Karen Ziemba. Winner of the 2000 Tony Award for her performance in the musical "Contact," she has also captured the Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
Beginning with the now legendary "A Chorus Line,"
Broadway was introduced to Ms. Zeimba, and she hasn't slowed down since. In addition to numerous musicals she has been featured in TV programs and films.
Fortunately, she also finds time to read audio books, and "Led Astray" is one of her best. She adroitly plumbs the depths of a young woman's emotions as Jenny Fletcher finds herself torn between her feelings for two men.
Jenny has given the ultimate support to her fiance's cause. On the night before he is to leave for Central America they couple as she has always believed they would.
And then there is his brother who awakens desires in Jenny that she did not know she possessed. With whom does her future lie?
Another sigh producing love story from Sandra Brown, and first rate voice performance by Karen Ziemba.
